After years of hard work, Scavengers is excited to announce the release of Studio SEASON: Letter to the Future ! The long awaited atmospheric adventure game, SEASON: Letter to the Future Available digitally on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 for €29.99, and on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store for €24.99. PC gamers can enjoy a 10% discount until February 7th.

The full soundtrack is available now

PC gamers interested in purchasing the soundtrack digitally can purchase it bundled with the game for $29.99 or separately for €9.75. The soundtrack includes many interdiegetic and extradiegetic musical elements isolated from the game and ready to fill in the gaps of your own daily life.

“ I started working on Season in the spring of 2020. The team’s vision resonated with my tastes and seemed surprising or even antithetical to the world of video games, which I knew very little about at the time. The musical systems focus on abstraction, mood, and ambience, overlapping and intermingling with the acoustic biomes explored and recorded in the game, forming a process I call “musical wind.” In order to evoke the lost atmosphere of the “old world” in this post-collapse context, the arrangements are inspired by early 20th century impressionism and manipulated to envelop the listener in their environment. – Spencer Doran, Score and Audio Director

In SEASON: Letter to the Future, players take on the role of a young woman from a lonely village. For the first time, he goes on an adventure on his bike and makes it his mission to see the world before a cataclysm wipes it all out. SEASON it is a quest, a discovery of a new world that is both unknown and strangely familiar. It will be necessary to document, photograph and record the life of this season while there is still time on the road.
