Asensio United, Jorginho Arsenal – a transfer every PL club needs before the deadline

Deadline day is shaping up to be a sensational day with all Premier League clubs linked with targets and looking for deals to fill gaps in their squads.

Despite what the leaders will say at the press conference, everyone will know that they can still improve their workforce on Tuesday and have a list of goals to accomplish. In addition, the results of other actions may make other players available.

So who will every Premier League club try to sign on Deadline Day? Encause is watching…

AFC Bournemouth – Hamed Junior Traore (Sassuolo)

Bournemouth are hoping to secure the services of a winger this month and have turned their attention from Nicolo Zaniolo (Roma) to Hamed Junior Traore (Sassuolo). The winger has already been the focus of several big clubs and has the potential to spark the Cherries in the bottom three.

Arsenal – Jorginho (Chelsea)

Edu has moved quickly to open talks with Chelsea for Jorginho after Brighton revealed Arsenal would not sign Moises Caicedo this month. The Italian, whose contract expires in the summer, is now set to cross the border as negotiations continue apace. Mikel Arteta will not only bolster his midfield options with a solid Premier League player, but also get an experienced and consistent winner, which will no doubt be essential in his improbable title quest this season.

Aston Villa – Matteo Guendouzi (Marseille)

After arriving at Aston Villa, Unai Emery would prefer to be reunited with Marseille’s Matteo Guendouzi. The ex-Arsenal star is a key player for the French side, but it is vital that Villa board acquire his services to prove they are ready to back their new manager.

Brentford – Ross Stewart (Sunderland)

Brentford have been limited in activity this month, but signing Sunderland star Ross Stewart would be a bargain. The forward has scored 10 goals and provided 3 assists in 13 Championship appearances this season and would be a great replacement for Ivan Toney. The striker has recently suffered an Achilles injury which could have prevented the Bees despite their interest in the 26-year-old.

Brighton – Mykola Matviyenko (Shakhtar Donetsk)

Brighton insist they will not sell Caicedo, with their priority being to sign the left-back centre-back. Roberto De Zerbi has insisted he wants to reunite with Mykola Matviyenko this month and talks with Shakhtar Donetsk have been ongoing for weeks.

Chelsea – Enzo Fernandes (Benfica)

After talks broke down earlier this month, Chelsea have returned to Benfica with a mammoth bid for Enzo Fernandez. The World Cup star is regarded as one of Europe’s brightest talents and will close a busy window for the Blues.

Crystal Palace – Sacha Boey (Galatasaray)

Patrick Vieira has made it clear he is unhappy with Crystal Palace’s lack of signings this month and the least he can hope for before 11pm is a midfielder and a right-back. Galatasaray defender Sacha Boey has been the subject of plenty of Selhurst Park transfer rumors this month and could be available in the closing moments of the day.

Everton – Conor Gallagher (Chelsea)

Sean Dyche will be hoping he can work his magic for England despite Conor Gallagher apparently refusing to sign for Everton. The Chelsea star has clearly been identified as a top target for the former Burnley manager and would be an important signing.

Fulham – Cedric Soares (Arsenal)

Arsenal star Cedric Soares agreed to join Fulham this month, but the deal was held up as the club involved two Premier League players, Shane Duffy and Dan James. The Portuguese star could therefore be forced to settle permanently at Craven Cottage.

Leeds United – Nicolo Zaniolo (Roma)

The Tottenham target has been left out of Roma’s first team and is set for a move to the Premier League. He has already turned down a move to Bournemouth but could agree a deal after contacting Leeds’ agents.

Leicester City – Harry Souttar (Stoke City)

With the departure of Çağlar Söyüncü at the end of the season, replacing the central defender is a priority for Brendan Rodgers. Stoke star Harry Souttar has been identified as an ideal candidate by Leicester and talks will continue with the Championship side.

Liverpool – Sander Berge (Sheffield United)

Liverpool may hope to make Anfield their destination, despite interest from Fulham and Newcastle in Sheffield United’s Sander Berge. They are long-time admirers of the midfielder and could be had for a reasonable fee given the Blades are keen to sell him this month.

Manchester City – Anthony Robinson (Fulham)

With Joao Cancelo’s imminent departure to Bayern Munich, Manchester City are looking for a quick solution to fill their full-back position. They have been speculatively linked with United States international Antonee Robinson, who enjoyed an impressive campaign with Fulham and has all the makings of a winger. Negotiations with Fulham may be difficult as they are currently in European negotiations, but it cannot be completely ruled out.

Manchester United – Marco Asensio (Real Madrid)

The star of “Real Madrid” Marco Asensio fought for minutes at “Santiago Bernabeu”, which attracted the attention of “Manchester United”. Erik ten Hag wants to sign another striker before the window closes and Asensio’s versatility should be attractive.

Newcastle – Youri Tielemans (Leicester City)

Newcastle are considering a replacement for Youri Tielemans this month as Jonjo Shelvey looks set to leave the club. The Belgian midfielder could be sold for a good price despite his late exit from the King Power Stadium at the end of the season. The Magpies are long-time admirers of the midfielder and are considering their options.

Nottingham Forest – Felipe (Atletico Madrid)

Nottingham Forest have welcomed an impressive number of new signings since their promotion to the Premier League and that trend will not stop on deadline day. They are said to be in talks to sign Atletico Madrid star Felipe, who was previously linked with Wolves, and believe his experience could be key to their survival.

Southampton – Moussa Dembele (Lyon)

Southampton have tabled a £3million bid for Lyon star Moussa Dembele, hoping to secure his signature for a nominal fee. The Frenchman declined to become a free agent at the end of the season, but the Saints sensed an opportunity and are hoping to jump at the chance.

Tottenham – James Maddison (Leicester City)

Apart from Porro (Sporting), Tottenham hope to sign a creative player before the window closes. Antonio Conte’s side are in the hunt for a number 10 and could be tempted by the likes of James Maddison, who has sparked interest at Leicester.

“West Ham” – Hakim Ziyech (Chelsea)

Moroccan playmaker Hakim Ziyech, who attracted the attention of West Ham, was considered surplus to requirements at Chelsea. The versatile striker could be on loan or on a permanent basis if the Hammers decide they have no other options in the bottom three in their survival race. However, PSG appear to be the player’s priority and talks are reportedly already in development.

Wolves – Michael Antonio (West Ham)

Michael Antonio has indicated he is ready to leave West Ham this month, prompting Wolves to inquire. Le Molineux are desperate for another goalscorer if they are to survive this season and see the Jamaican international as a solid option.
