Hogwarts Legacy previews: reviews are great! | Xbox One
Hogwarts Legacy is without a doubt one of the biggest games of this start of the year, and especially one of the most anticipated games. Developed by Avalanche Software, it promises to immerse players in the wizarding world, portraying a student starting their fifth year at Hogwarts.
The game looks very ambitious and many are waiting for the first impressions to know what to expect. This is good because previews are everywhere on the web.
Here’s a quick overview of what the international press is thinking about Hogwarts Legacy. Remember, these are just previews, not full tests. These will be available before the game’s release.
First glimpses of Hogwarts Legacy
IGN
IGN’s review is positive. Its author describes several aspects of the game, such as exploration, side quests or mini-games, but he specifically mentions the combat and gameplay as real strengths:
The battle was an unexpected moment for me. The short time I was able to spend with Hogwarts Legacy definitely won me over with its sense of adventure and grandeur. Aside from some initial minor issues, such as limited interaction with the environment and some user errors due to misunderstanding the controls, Hogwarts Legacy is shaping up to be a very fresh and fun episode in the rich world we already know better.
