Samsung is repeating the same strategy as its predecessor for the Galaxy S22. The firm used the conference to introduce not one, but three different models of the Samsung Galaxy S22. As is often the case with this type of launch, these come in a variety of sizes and features to satisfy a wide range of users. The three models offered are:

How much is the Samsung Galaxy S22+ worth?

Samsung Galaxy S22+ is very close to the classic model. It differs from its counterpart with only a few minor adjustments, most notably the battery level of 4,500 mAh (compared to 3,700 for the classic S22). Therefore, the autonomy of the S22+ will be slightly better than the basic version of the phone. Another big differentiator of the S22+ is its size. The Samsung Galaxy S22+ has a 6.6″ display (compared to 6.1″ for the S22). This format is more “classic” and will be more suitable for most users.

What are the differences for the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra?

.As for the S22 and S22+ models, the design of the phone is very similar to its predecessors. Equipped with S22 Ultraa curved screen and, above all, a box dedicated to storing the S-Pen penIt was noticeably absent from the brand’s latest foldable phone, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3. This option is reminiscent of the older Galaxy Note series, which was especially easy to use with a stylus.

But this is not the only difference between the Galaxy S22 Ultra and its smaller siblings. The latter also has a better battery (5000 mAh) that allows you to work for a little more than a day and a half, depending on the manufacturer.

The screen of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra also stands out from the other two models. It has a Quad HD+ display and a large size of 6.8″, so you will have to appreciate large phones to get the most out of the Galaxy S22 Ultra.

Finally, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is also equipped with a second Telephoto photo sensor capable of up to x10 optical zoom! The latter will allow you to capture beautiful shots of your zoomed-in scenes. Aside from the x10 optical zoom, it’s digital zoom at the cost of quality.

Despite all efforts to keep the Samsung Galaxy S22 under wraps, the firm has not been able to prevent multiple leaks from spreading across the internet. Exynos 2200 processor

Samsung is one of the manufacturers that can offer its own in-house processors. The S21 is equipped with an Exynos 2100 chip with excellent performance that can compete with Snapdragon processors in particular. It seems that the company wants to continue this momentum, because our European models still have the home-made chip.

That’s why the Samsung Galaxy S22 is all equipped with an Exynos 2200 processor. Although the latter has achieved excellent results in various specialized tests, it seems a bit behind compared to the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 presented there. It is a few months old. However, we will have to wait for the new tests to be fixed in the released versions of the S22 Ultra.

A design very close to its predecessor

The first leaks of the Samsung Galaxy S22 have already shown a great resemblance to its predecessor! We find there, in particular, the photo unit placed on the side, as well as the front sensor, which is placed in the center of the screen and is not placed directly under the screen, as in the brand’s foldable phone Z Fold 3.

The Galaxy S22 Ultra differs slightly from its classic counterpart by offering the original P-shaped photoblock. The latter also has an additional photo module dedicated to the telephoto lens. The edges of the S22 Ultra also differ from the other two models, as they are more rounded to leave more room for the display. The latter is especially compatible with the use of the Samsung S-Pen stylus, which is available directly on the smartphone.

Four colors are available for the Samsung Galaxy S22. The first two models (S22 and S22+) are available in Rose Gold, Green, White and Black. The Samsung S22 Ultra Gold replaces Gold with an exclusive Burgundy red. All these colors are available on Samsung’s official website as well as in specialized retail stores.

120 Hz high definition display

As for the Galaxy S22 display, they fall into two different categories: on the one hand, the Samsung Galaxy S22 and S22+ have a Full HD+ panel, while the S22 Ultra is equipped with a QHD+ panel. However, all three screens are equipped with screens capable of displaying an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate. The latter will allow you to benefit from great fluidity during your games and applications, while saving battery when necessary. As for the dimensions of the screens, they evolve according to any model:

Camera with 50 MP

The current generations of Samsung Galaxy S21 and S21+ smartphones have three photo sensors of 12, 12 and 64 MP respectively. Only the S21 was distinguished by four dedicated sensors (12, 108, 10 and 10) for ultra-wide-angle, ultra-wide-angle and telephoto. Samsung Galaxy S22 offered new sensors with the main switch to 50 Mpx. So, the smartphone follows the following pattern:
