Game Awards 2022: HUGE recap of all Xbox announcements here | Xbox One

Shorter than expected, the Game Awards 2022 night fulfilled all its promises. Between awarding ceremonies for nominees in various categories and the release of trailers galore, our editorial team once again gave up the arms of Morpheus to cover the event live for you!

Weren’t you there last night? Here’s a rundown of everything you can’t miss in Xbox news during this spectacular event presented by Geoff Keighley at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

Game Awards 2022 – Summary of all announcements and videos!

  • Star Wars Jedi: Survivor: let’s go to the Star Wars universe for a few minutes, but this time with Respawn Entertainment, because Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is also being talked about. Announced by Steam a few days ago, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will launch on March 15, 2023 for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. This new opus, which we mentioned earlier, will benefit from ray tracing technology, as evidenced by the gameplay video released tonight.

  • After a successful first episode with Remnant 2: Remnant From the Ashes, Gearbox had to announce a new episode, now ready. With new worlds, battles still dynamic, Remnant 2 promises us hours of great gameplay as it is scheduled to release in 2023 on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC.
  • Hades II: Big surprise with the announcement of Hades II, which will benefit from early access on PC from 2023. Players will be able to enjoy some magic this time.

  • Blue Protocol: Action-RPG fans will be introduced to the new production Blue Protocol imagined by Bandai Namco and will be the bet of the free-to-play model. The game will offer you an adventure where the hero will be in search of the truth while waiting for a fate he cannot escape. Blue Protocol is expected on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC in 2023.
  • Crime Boss: Rockay City: a very surprising title was revealed during the ceremony. Crime Boss: Rockay City is reminiscent of GTA in some aspects, but in FPS terms with a cast of well-known actors like Chuck Norris. It was released on March 28, 2023 on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC.

  • Post Trauma: This is a brand new horror game from RobertoSerraG studio that combines fixed camera angles as a tribute and modern approach to classic horror games. No release date or media has been announced yet.
  • After Us: platform games were also in the spotlight with After Us. The new production of the Piccolo studio will offer you to experience a “stirring” story based on sacrifice and hope. Although the game is slated for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC, there is no release date yet.
  • Party Animals: Two years after its release, Party Animals is back to show us that the cutest little critters in the universe aren’t necessarily the friendliest. Originally slated for 2022, Party Animals will finally launch in 2023 with Xbox Game Pass integration on Xbox and PC one day.
  • Immortals of Aveum: Ascendent Studios is busy. The developer used the Game Awards 2022 ceremony to introduce us to Immortals of Aveum, a magical first-person shooter developed under the Unreal Engine 5 engine. Its release is expected in 2023 on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC.
  • Transformers Reboot: The upcoming reboot of Transformers in theaters has been great for Splash Damage, who took the opportunity to announce a new game around the franchise. Transformers Reactivate is a multiplayer game that will launch in beta in 2023 on consoles and PC.
  • After Earthblade: Céleste, EXOK Games is now embarking on a new project with Earthblade, a pixel art 2D exploration and action game in which the player takes on the role of Névoa, a child of mysterious destiny who eventually returns to Earth.   • Judas: we all finally believed the new episode of Bioshock by discovering the game of someone called Judas. This is an FPS developed by Ghost Story Games that will be released on Xbox Series X|S, PS5 and PC.
  • Destiny 2: Activision hasn’t forgotten about Destiny 2 fans. Indeed, a gift has been reserved for them with the announcement of the DLC Lightfall. In this app you can discover Neptune.   • Rest assured Tekken 8: Tekken fans, Bandai Namco has not forgotten you.   • Diablo IV: After hearing a lot of rumors about it, we now know for sure that Diablo IV will be released on June 6, 2023 on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC. The new video released by Activision Blizzard is already making our mouths water, so we just have to wait patiently.
  • Crash Team Rumble: Let’s continue with equally exciting news, the official announcement of Crash Team Rumble.   • The Lords Of The Fallen: Officially released last August, Lords Of The Fallen used the Game Awards 2022 to show off with the great gameplay video that many have been hoping for.   • Cyberpunk 2077: we told you about it a little while ago, CD project RED presented the Phantom Liberty DLC, which will be reserved exclusively for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC.
