AMAvilles, an association of master students in management and alternative urban policies (Altervilles) aims: to connect students and former students, to create spaces for meetings and entertainment between students, to promote alterville training, to promote integration into the world of practitioners and researchers, the local city to contribute to policy debates and research, to encourage students to consolidate their experiences and representations in the context of Saint-Étienne, and to confront academic teaching with urban realities.

BDE Géotopia is an association of geography students in Saint-Etienne. GEOTOPIA is the BDE of the University of Saint-Etienne Jean Monnet, which aims to bring together geography students with a fusion and cultural purpose between different undergraduate levels. The association aims to promote the Master II in Territorial Development Consultancy at ISEAG Saint-Étienne in collaboration with Sciences Po Lyon and to allow professional and personal follow-up between different promotions. A label for culture and media projects, Phénomène is a creative laboratory exploring new uses of creativity and expression through the prism of experimentation. The association thanks to the diversity of its activities and initiatives participatory, inclusive and innovative cultural offering. Both an association publishing original concepts and a creative network, Phénomène has its own production management, PHNMN Prod. It works to promote creativity and encourage expression by advocating for culture and media. Board memberAnimafac, a network of student associations, the structure carries the voice of young creators. encourages student participation through PHNMN Campus, an intersection of student creativity. Since 2019, it has been organizing artistic and cultural events, preparing media programs and supporting artists, journalists and musicians. Since 1992, Projet & Tech, the Télécom Saint-Étienne robotics association, has participated annually in the French robotics cup organized by Planète Sciences (formerly the E=M6 cup). It is a public challenge that brings together passionate engineering students and many people from all over France. The team consists of first-year students who are responsible for designing and building the robot. Third-year students are there to advise and implement the training of first-year students. In addition to competition, participating in an association allows you to improve your technical skills in areas that are not necessarily covered in school, either theoretically or practically. In addition, the year-long teamwork and project management is excellent training for future engineers.
